Yes, it's just like a commie to complain about the bank but I have to, because it's my bank. The same bank that pocketed over $1000 of my money because they though that I forgot about that account. But after all of the strife they put my through, it was nice to have them treat me to a free concert.



On Canada Day some friends and I saw Feist at Harbourfront's CIBC stage. The thing about Harbourfront is that everything is branded by sponsored. Most notaby, there's a big milk carton floating in a pool by the patio.



CIBC once tried to, essentially, buy a college radio station (Toronto's CIUT) with a $75 million-dollar donation. But there was a catch; CIUT would need to rebrand itself as CIBC. This was dirty on so many levels, but I won't get into perspectives on broadcast policy; it will bore you to death and then some.... Read more...
